Traditions

Skrivet av Juls
Just wondering if any of you out there still manage to celebrate your own countries traditions still, not of course halloween, which is now celebrated everywhere (or so it seems).
I\'m thinking of celebrating "Bonfire Night" November 5th and wondering if anyone else celebrates this day? I feel as though if I don\'t make the effort our little girl will grow up solely swedish having no connection with english traditions etc!

Not bonfire night, though as we live in an apartment! No place to make a bonfire then. :) But we celebrate english christmas as well as swedish. (I love christmas and to have two! wonderful! *S*)

I would say its up to the family to celebrate what is importent for them as individuals. For us its christmas that is the special occasion.
