I think everyone who used to play those games has just grown out of it. New generation, new kinds of fun. I played them when I was a kid too, but I wouldn’t now. Don’t even have time to waste a couple minutes on some random game.
They’re just not trendy right now. I don’t even get how trends work anymore in any industry, so I wouldn’t be surprised if in a couple of years the world suddenly remembers these games and the younger generation starts feeling that thing people call “nostalgia for a time they never lived in.” If you’re looking for games like that, I recommend RPG games and tons of other stuff on PlayHop. Honestly feels like the old websites too: simple, easy to use, no extra clutter, and the ads are barely noticeable.
